Training offers training at a range of levels
and with different client groups in mind.
In-house provision is extremely cost-effective
where limited training budgets are concerned and
costs can be reduced further by reducing
expenses through block bookings.
Training can be delivered as whole-day,
half-day, or extended (into twilight)
sessions. Courses may be split, and topic
areas 'picked and mixed' to suit the needs of
the individual school or institution, and the
development needs of the staff.
All courses will involve a consultation
before they are delivered to ensure that the
breadth and depth of coverage are suited to the
target audience.
Workshops
Training delivered to small groups of <8 people.
Seminars
CPD for larger (sometimes mixed) groups of up to
20 people.
INSET
Presentations aimed at large staff groups
Consultancy
Specialised work with small numbers of pupils
who may be causing concern, or for management
support.
Training support materials will be sent in
advance for duplication and distribution and all
courses are evaluated to ensure that quality is
maintained, and that individual training needs
are met.
CPD managers may request to see evidence of
recent evauations.
